What happens during my first consultation at Serenity?
Your first consultation is a comprehensive clinical partnership session — not a screening. We spend meaningful time reviewing your complete health history, your lived experience, your prior labs, and your goals. By the end of your visit, you will have a clear clinical assessment and a defined set of next steps.
Do I need a referral to book?
No referral is required. You can book directly. Many of our clients come to us after years of referrals that led nowhere. We welcome you wherever you are in your health journey.
What makes Serenity different from a conventional appointment?
At Serenity, we don’t treat diagnoses. We treat people. Our consultations are not capped at 15 minutes and we are not anchored to a symptom-and-prescription model. We look at root causes, functional patterns, and your full biology to build a plan specific to your life.
Do you serve patients outside of Waukesha?
Yes. Serenity serves clients throughout Waukesha County, including Oconomowoc, Hartland, Delafield, Brookfield, and Pewaukee, as well as the greater Milwaukee metro area. Telehealth is also available for Wisconsin patients.

Is this covered by insurance?
Serenity is a precision functional medicine practice. We operate outside the insurance model so that we can offer the depth of care and time with patients that conventional billing structures make impossible. We are happy to discuss our membership and investment options during your consultation.
