Thermography
What is Thermography?
Thermography, also known as digital infrared thermal imaging (DITI), is a non-invasive diagnostic technique that detects heat patterns and blood flow in body tissues. By capturing infrared images, thermography provides a visual representation of the temperature variations in different parts of the body, which can indicate underlying issues or conditions.
Benefits of Thermography
- Non-Invasive: No radiation or contact with the body.
- Pain-Free: No discomfort during the procedure.
- Early Detection: Can detect subtle changes in physiology, often before symptoms appear.
- Comprehensive Monitoring: Useful for ongoing monitoring of health conditions.
Thermography Services We Offer:

Breast Thermography
Breast thermography is a valuable tool for early detection of breast abnormalities, including breast cancer. It can identify changes in breast tissue that may indicate the presence of disease, often before a lump can be felt or seen on a mammogram.
- Early Detection of Breast Cancer
- Monitoring of Breast Health
- Complementary to Mammography

Musculoskeletal Thermography
Musculoskeletal thermography is a specialized application of digital infrared thermal imaging (DITI) used to evaluate and monitor conditions affecting the muscles, joints, and other soft tissues.
- Inflammation: Identifies areas of inflammation in muscles and joints, which can indicate conditions like arthritis, tendinitis, and bursitis.
- Muscle Strain and Tears: Detects subtle changes in muscle tissue that may signify strain or tears.
- Sports Injuries: Useful for diagnosing and monitoring injuries such as sprains, strains, and overuse injuries common in athletes.
- Nerve Damage: Can indicate areas of nerve dysfunction or compression, useful in diagnosing conditions like sciatica or carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Chronic Pain: Helps identify underlying causes of chronic pain conditions, aiding in effective management and treatment.

Full Body Thermography
A comprehensive scan that provides an overview of the body’s thermal patterns. This can help in detecting systemic issues or conditions that affect multiple areas of the body.
- Early Detection of Systemic Conditions
- Comprehensive Health Monitoring
- Identification of Subtle Physiological Changes
Pediatric Thermography
Thermography is a safe and effective tool for children, particularly for evaluating sports injuries or monitoring health conditions without exposing them to radiation.
- Non-Invasive Monitoring for Children
- Detection of Pediatric Sports Injuries
- Assessment of Pediatric Health Conditions
Heat patterns indicate inflammation. Inflammation is a precursor to disease in the body. Early detection of inflammation is critical – you can prevent or intervene in the process before it becomes a disease.
In addition, measuring inflammation consistently over time can also be very effective for detecting the status and severity of a medical condition.
Using our Thermography camera detector, this technique precisely records the energy emitted in the infrared spectrum. Thermography uses infrared radiation (photons) emitted by your body into electrical signals that form a digital image on a monitor.
So, if we can see your health problem, we can help get it under control – and sometimes even reverse illness!
How Does Thermography Work?
During a thermography session, a specialized camera captures images of the heat patterns on the skin’s surface. These images are then analyzed to identify any abnormalities or changes in temperature that could indicate an underlying issue. The process is quick, typically taking 15-30 minutes, and results are reviewed by a trained thermographer.
