Intermittent Fasting Program

Humans are programmed through evolutionary history to be hunters and gathers that can go long periods without eating. Intermittent fasting burns through the calories from when you last ate and then begins to burn your fat stores.

Farming and electricity facilitate eating calories at all hours of the day. The extra calories and a more sedentary lifestyle increase the risk of being overweight, having type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and many other illnesses.

With Intermittent Fasting, you stop eating earlier in the day and prolong eating in the morning, so you are without food for between 16 to 18 hours.

To give you an idea of how Intermittent fasting works the first week, you might have your last meal before 7pm. Then, when you wake up, you can have non-caloric beverages until 11am, when you have your first meal. You will eat sensibly with some protein to end the fasting window, and you can choose whether it is a breakfast or lunch-type meal.

Serenity will guide you on the foods and recipes that suit you during your eating window. You must stop all food intake at the defined hour. We adjust the diet to your schedule.
